At the foot of the yawning recess cave in Hocking Hills State Park where the hermit Richard Rowe once lived, there is a magnificent waterfall on Old Man's Creek called Middle Falls.
In this image, the morning sun has finally cleared the surrounding hills and tall hemlock forests to light up parts of the waterfall as it tumbles down the layers of its sandstone bed.
