Winter Sunrise Colors, Fort Collins, Colorado
This photograph of a winter sunrise lighting up the clouds against a blue sky was made outside my home at the time near Fort Collins, Colorado. I was a forester working on Dutch Elm Disease control and urban and community forestry. I lived in a rented house trailer out on the plains, where I was able to enjoy many unimpeded views of the sky such as this.
