On a clear sunny day in the summer of 1987, we climbed Mt. St. Helens for the second time in three days. Our previous climb was dampened by thick fog that made even the near distance unviewable. So up again we went when the weather had cleared.
In the far distance is Mount Adams, a sister volcano to Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Ranier, and the other mammoth, glacier laden volcanoes of the Cascade Mountain chain.
