Stephen Krieg's Ohio photos demonstrate his passion for seeking out nature wherever he is. Having lived in the Buckeye State for 18 years, he was able to seek out many locations.
Most people think of Ohio as a flat, boring cornfield state to drive across on their way to somewhere more interesting. Little do they realize that they are driving past just as many soybean fields as cornfields! (Crop rotation, you know).
Seriously, though, Steve's Ohio photos show his appreciation for nature anywhere, anytime. Ohio's rich soils and remnant woodlands provide many opportunities to revel in nature. Add to that the surprising geologic anomaly of the Hocking Hills in the southeast part of the state, and you have no excuse to think only of cornfields any more.
