The aspen forests were at their peak fall foliage colors in October when the first significant snowfall of the season descended on the region. Heavy wet snow, fog, and slippery roads across the mountains.
In the morning, the storm clouds were quickly clearing, letting through sun and blue skies. From the Zion Overlook area, which has a vast visa including Zion National Park far in the distance, I could appreciate the snow's contribution to the exciting scene.
