Sunset time on the Coconino National Forest north of Flagstaff, Arizona. The wind dies as the evening lies down. The few remaining clouds on the western horizon reflect the sun's last golden rays.
I am on a shoulder of a high and mostly bare ridge, an exceptional spot from which to enjoy the view. To the west, the San Francisco Peaks lose detail in the twilight, except for their snow covered slopes.
