Dawn Over the La Sal Mountains, Utah
This photograph of the dawn colors over the La Sal Mountains in the high desert of southeastern Utah was made while I was on my and first-ever trip to the Utah Canyon Country, about 1981.
I was camping out alone west of Moab, on Bureau Of Land Management land, back on some lonely old four-wheel-drive trail that wound around to where I had an exceptional view of the Colorado River canyon below.
